In March of 2009, El Puente started as a home school, serving a community of students whose parents were dissatisfied with the educational options in Quepos and desired for their children to be taught from a Biblical worldview. Since then, it has grown from a small five-student classroom to a multi-age school with continual growth eminent. In addition, El Puente has partnered with Zeeland Christian Schools in Zeeland, Michigan and is now in the process of becoming a fully functioning and nationally accredited school serving the local Quepos community.

El Puente is a non-profit bilingual elementary school located in Quepos, Costa Rica. We are a sister school of Zeeland Christian School in Zeeland, Michigan (a 501-c3 organization) through which we can receive tax-deductable donations.
